Here is the latest run down on the activities scheduled for the CHS class of 79 twenty year reunion.

Friday Night July 30th @ 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM        There will be a social at the General's Quarters, dress

                                                                        is causal.  Light hors d'oeuvres and non alcoholic

                                                                        beverages will be served. The General's Quarters is

                                                                        located on Filmore Street across from the Public

                                                                        Library.

Saturday July 31st @ 10:00 am to 2:00 PM        There will be a family picnic at the YMCA play ground.

                                                                        Hot Dogs, chips, tea, kool-aid and lemon-aid will be

                                                                        served.  The Y is still located on N Webster Street off

                                                                        of N. Madison Street (or also known as Boneyard

                                                                        Road.)

Saturday July 31st @ 2:00 PM                          Golf at Shiloh Ridge Gold & Racquet Club at 3110

                                                                        Shiloh Road.  Tee time is 2:00 PM.  Dee Dee Smith

                                                                        is in charge of organizing the game.  Each player is

                                                                        responsible for his cart and green fees.  Sorry no

                                                                        discounts on groups less than twenty players.

Saturday Night July 31st @ 7:00 - Until            There will be a dance and heavy hors d'oeuvres, soft

                                                                        drinks, tea and coffee will be served. Dress is causal.

                                                                        Steve Shaw is taking couple pictures from 7:00 PM

                                                                         - 8:30 PM.( So bring some cash). There will be a

                                                                        small recognition program and after that the band

                                                                        Speckled Sharks will perform.

Neither The General's Quarters nor Shiloh Ridge Golf & Ratchet Club has a bar.  So if you want an alcoholic beverage to drink you must bring your on bottle (BYOB).  Hard liquor and wine are illegal in Corinth and Alcorn County. If this is your preferred drink you will need to buy it before coming to Corinth. On the other hand beer is legal and is sold in Corinth.  No alcohol will be provided to others by the Class of '79 due to liability concerns. 

Please be a responsible drinker.  This is a happy occasion, so let's not end it with a tragedy.  I'm counting on everyone to watch out for yourself and for each other.  Let's have a safe and happy weekend and  PARTY LIKE IT'S 1999 safely.
