CHS - Class of 79
History Since Graduation

Ann Lee Little

After graduation, I attended Northeast for one semester and then transferred to M.U.W.  where I graduated in May, 1983, with an Elementary Education degree.  I taught kindergarten at First Methodist one year and then married   Allen Woodhouse ('80) in July, 1984.  We moved to Louisville,
Kentucky, where he was a student, and I worked as a secretary at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  We loved big city life!  After graduation, we moved to Michie, Tennessee, and later on to Cleveland and McComb.  I guess we must have come to our senses, because we moved back "home" almost 5 years ago.  I teach second grade at East Corinth, near where our library was many
years ago.  I have enjoyed watching the children of classmates and seeing their eyes light up when I tell them I went to East with their Mom or Dad!  Allen works with Exxon/Fleetsmart and travels around the northern part of the state.

We have two daughters, Amy, age 11, and Allison, age 7.  Amy was born in Louisville and was seven weeks premature.  I had a rare disorder sometimes known as HELLP Syndrome which is usually fatal.  I guess I'm just really stubborn, because I'm still around!  Except for some vision problems,
Amy is fine and has enjoyed her first year at South Corinth.  She is very interested in music.  Allison was born in Greenville, Mississippi, and has completed her first grade year at West Corinth.  She adds "spice" to our lives because she is so creative and is such a perfectionist.

We are active in our church and in our girls' school activities.  My greatest "selfish" thing that I do totally for myself each year is play for Follies!   The first two years I played, Amy Doran Wigginton also played, and that was great fun!!  I can't remember everything about our Follies, but
each year brings back a few more memories.

I look forward to renewing old friendships in July!
