Hey Classmates:
I don't know about you, but I got dem ol' bittersweet post-reunion blues.
Hope everyone had as much fun as I did, and I wish we could hang out
together like that every weekend. Matt, Brandon, and I had a blast playing
all your favorite hits, and we want to thank all our guest stars: Kathryn,
Stump, Jimbo,and Veni for playing with us. Some of you can be thankful that
I suffer from ADD and therefore forgot to make some joke announcements that
I'd planned. For example: I was going to call Pam Guynn Smith onstage to
re-create her famous Gentry Jean Machine commercial. Knowing she would then
crawl under her table, I had planned to let my hair down and do the moves
myself, complete with her Come Hither looks. (Who knew before the TV spot
that Pam even had a Come Hither look?). So rest easy 'til next time.
Also thanks again to everyone who braved the heat and humidity of the Alley
Galley Friday night (or as Leigh Ellen so aptly deemed it, "The Sauna"). And
special gratitude to those who stuck it out to the bitter end, which
occurred at 1:00 Sunday a.m.
I'll send photos to those whom I captured on film, and if any of you have
good ones, especially of the Alley Galley or story time, I'd love to hear
from you. (The pictures don't have to necessarily feature me or the band,
either.)
Well, I miss everybody and would kiss you all if only you were near.
