Randy Smith - August 5, 1999
THANKS to everyone that had a part in putting together such a good
time
for all of us. It was great to see everyone, some had changed, some a
lot, some none. It has been the entire 20 years since I have seen most
of you, but it was still an adventure. The heat about killed me, my
legs are still getting over the cramps I got playing golf (remind me not
to do that again).
I told Richard that we must be getting older if he is getting gray hair
now. I still can't believe that some of you can still drink as much as
you did, not saying that I didn't. The Band was excellent, the
surroundings were great and the people were perfect!! I was pleasantly
surprised that the good looking girls were still lookers, how do you do
that? The rest of us must just be getting older, but we are all getting
better!
It was great that we could party over Al's house after the get together
on Saturday night. Too bad Jimbo could not see much of it, I bet he could
hear it though. I'm glad we at least got to sleep by 5am. Pickwick was
a fun time on Sunday. If you missed it, you missed a good time. The
party at the AG on Friday night was just too damn hot, good time, just
too damn hot (did I say that enough?).
I didn't take near the amount of pictures that I should have. So, anyone
that has any please send via e-mail or another way. Lets all keep in touch
and make plans for the 25th reunion (1/4 century). Some of us were
talking about going to Las Vegas after the parties die down, what do you
think? Let's put together a list and go for it.
