Mike Harland

After playing a little baseball at Delta State, and marrying Teresa Stovall of Horn Lake in 1981,  I went to seminary at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.  I lived in the Jackson area from 1988-1999 serving Crossagtes Baptist Church in Brandon, and Broadmoor Baptist Church in
Jackson.  I'm now Associate Pastor of Music at Hyde Park Baptist Church in Austin, Texas.

Last year my wife and I recorded the album "The One I Believe In". No, "Desparado" is not on the album!  I am a staff writer for Centergy Music Group in Franklin, Tennessee and write Christian music for choirs and Christian artists.

We have three children, Lee is 11, Elizabeth is 9, and John is 3.
